YWCA WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. Local recognition program. First presented in 1975, the awards are given in seven categories. Recipients in 1975 were Dorothy B. Rossiter (Creative and Performing Arts), Kathy Crowley (Business), Sister Mary Corita Heid (Professions), Sister Joan Doyle (Education), Edna Thompson (Public Affairs), Jacqueline MERRITT (Community Service), Genevieve Heathcote (Human Rights), and Carol Murguia (Sports).
