WILD, Charles. (Dubuque, IA-Dubuque, IA, July 12,1960). General manager, Catholic Tribune. For his distinguished service to the Catholic press, Wild was presented with the Don Bosco Medal in 1937 by Archbishop Francis J. L. BECKMAN. The award was the second highest honor that could be presented to a Catholic layman.
