WHBL. As part of the annual radio show being carried out at the ARMORY for a week, the radio dealers dealers of Dubuque operated a radio broadcasting station, WHBL, with a noon hour program and a series of fifteen minute programs each evening.

Starting at 12:00 o'clock, the program began with selections played on the GRAND THEATRE organ by Miss Ethel Gassman. Requests could be called in to #343. The evening program began at 7:00 p,m, and the last part of the program went on the air at 10:30 p.m.
