UNIQUE BALANCE INC. (a division of S. H. Pomeroy Company). Founded in 1947, the company produced window balances, weather stripping, and plastic extrusions. (1) In 1970 the company employed thirty-five people. (2)
The 1948 Dubuque Classified Business Directory through 1987 Dubuque City Directory listed the same address and listed the company as part of Iowa Industries Inc.
The 1989 through 1993 Dubuque City Directory listed 2225 Kerper Blvd.
