RYAN, Jenn. (Dubuque, IA-- ). A graduate of WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL in 1998, Ryan in 2023 competed for the sixth time in the CrossFit Games. To be accepted for the Games, she survived a qualification process that advance only the top 10 athletes worldwide in each age bracket.
CrossFit, a branded fitness regimen, involves constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. Of the six varied workouts she completed at the Games, Ryan placed inside the top five in five of them. She finished first in The Helen, a CrossFit even that inluded a 400-meter run, 21-kettlebell swings, and twelve pull-ups.
Her third place finish in the 2023 NoBull Cross Fit Games Masters 40-44 age group came after a runner-up effort in 2022.
