PRINGLE & ATHERTON. In 1867 Pringle & Atherton had two establishments. One was located on Iowa between 2nd and 3rd and the second was on the corner of Iowa and 5th. With $4,000 invested in the company, the firm that year earned $13,000 while employing fourteen. (1)

The 1868 and 1868-69 Guide, Gazetteer and Directory of the Dubuque & Soux (sic) City Railroad stated that this business was located on Iowa between 2nd and 3rd.
