POTHUNTING
POTHUNTING. Similar to the modern day practice of poaching or hunting without regard to rules, pothunting was a concern of the DUBUQUE GUN CLUB in 1875. The organization offered a reward of $25 (in addition to one-half of the fine required by law) for information leading to the conviction of anyone transporting or shooting game illegally.
