NEWBURGH, Joseph W. (Dubuque, IA, June 28, 1905--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 31, 1991). Newburgh, a graduate of DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, was president and treasurer of NEWBURGH COMPANY (THE), painting and decorating contractors. He was a past regional vice-president and executive board member of the Painting and Decorative Contractors of America.
Locally Newburgh was president and secretary of the Dubuque chapter of the Iowa Council of the Painting and Decorative Contractors of America. He was also a president of the Dubuque Tennis Association and member of the Civil Air Patrol and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
