MCDONALD, Dorothy Bessie. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 27, 1910--Dubuque, IA, July 7, 1988). McDonald, a charter organizer of Chapter KI of PEO, served as treasurer of the HILLCREST SERVICE LEAGUE. She was also a member of the board of directors of HILLCREST FAMILY SERVICES and the DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AUXILIARY.
In 1971 Dorothy was a member of the Scholarship Committee for the first JULIA M. HERR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. (1) She was the treasurer of Things N' Things, a thrift shop in 1982. (2)
