IOWA HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMING COACHES ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME. WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL swimming and diving star Peggy Anderson was one of five charter members inducted into the Hall of Fame in November 1980. Anderson won a national collegiate diving title as a student at the University of Wisconsin and qualified for the 1976 U.S. Olympic Trials.

At the time of her induction into the Hall of Fame, she was the only Iowa high school girl ever to win four consecutive state championships. She won the diving title each of her four years at Wahlert and twice won the fifty-yard freestyle. At one time Peggy held the national high school record in the same stroke.
