IOWA ENGINEERING COMPANY. Iowa Engineering Company was started in 1939 by C. J. Bradshaw who anticipated the role refrigeration and air conditioning would have in the economy. The company specialized in both industrial and commercial installations and installations of air conditioning in homes coupled with the heating system. Its local projects included the CANFIELD HOTEL and Ed Graham Clothing. Commercial refrigeration was installed in the JULIEN HOTEL, and WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL.

OAKLAND FARMS DAIRY and other milk farms employed the company to install equipment to preserve milk awaiting delivery to dairies. The equipment also included pipe line milkers and bulk milk coolers.

The 1942 Dubuque Classified Business Directory through 1951 Dubuque City Directory listed 335 Main.

The 1957 through 1987 Dubuque City Directory listed 2100 Main.

The 1989 Dubuque City Directory listed 2100 Main and 99 Main.

The 1993 Dubuque City Directory listed 99 Main.
