HENRY H. MEHLHOP. The successor of the JOHN MEHLHOP, SON AND COMPANY was a wholesale distributor of tobaccos and cigarettes. The firm was owned and managed by Carl Mehlhop, the grandson of John MEHLHOP, Sr.

The 1903 Dubuque County Rural Route Directory and the 1904-1905 Dubuque City Directory located this business at 326 Main.

The 1911-12 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory through the 1923 Dubuque City Directory listed 372 Main as the address.

The 1922 directory listed 872 Main.
