HEEB, Anthony F. (Dubuque, IA, Dec. 21, 1867--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 17, 1948). Secretary-Treasurer, DUBUQUE BREWING AND MALTING COMPANY. The youngest son of Anton HEEB, Anthony Heeb served as a bookkeeper to his father until the merger of the A. Heeb Brewing Company with the Glab Brothers, Schmid Brothers and Western Brewing Company to form the Dubuque Brewing and Malting Company.

Anthony F. Heeb married Lousia Maria "LuLu" Rhomberg on April 9, 1890 in Dubuque. LuLu was one of two children and the only daughter of Liberat Alphonse "L.A." RHOMBERG. This marriage united the Heeb and Rhomberg brewing and business "dynasties" of early Dubuque.

Heeb was elected secretary-treasurer for the company until 1916 and served on its board of directors. He was also vice-president of the GERMAN SAVINGS BANK.
