CONZETT, Donald C. (Dubuque, IA, Dec. 2, 1898--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 4, 1982). Conzett was a 1925 graduate of Northwestern Medical School.

He was former president of the Conference of State Presidents of the American Medical Association and member of the Iowa State Board of Health, board of the American College of Surgeons and a fellow of the International College of Surgeons and American Association of Industrial Physicians and Surgeons. He served on the board of directors of the Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association of North America and was its chairman for nine years. In 1966 he was a member of the American Medical Association Committee on Federal Medical Services. He was also a past president of the Central States Industrial Society.

Locally, Conzett served as a director of the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, president of the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Board of Education, and chairman of the Americana Healthcare Center.

Dr. Conzett received the 1966 Merit Award of the Iowa Medical Society.
