COLLINS COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION
COLLINS COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION. Groundbreaking festivities were held on June 18, 2022 for the construction of a three-story, 30,000-square foot building at 255 John F. Kennedy Road for Collins Community Credit Union. This was the former site of Shopko. The business already had a branch at 4855 Asbury Road.
Founded in 1940, Collins Community Credit Union had branch locations in six Iowa cities with plans to open others in Ames and Iowa City. Officials of the company announced that the credit union would occupy the first floor of the new building with the top two floors available for rent.
