MENTER AND ROSENBLOOM COMPANY. The 1909 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 552 Main. It was renamed MENTER CO. (THE) in 1912 after the death of Max Rosenbloom. (1)
In 1912 at 890 Main Street, the store was operated by John Montel. The business was locally known as the M. & R. Store. (2)
