The 1955 and 1959 Dubuque City Directory listed 185 W. 32nd.
The 1962 through 1972 Dubuque City Directory listed 185 W. 32nd for KIRCHOFF DISTRIBUTING COMPANY INC.
The company was started by Edward Kirchhoff of Maquoketa who began business as an ice cutter on the Maquoketa River. When refrigeration became available, he became owner of a dairy and made ice cream. Eventually this venture turned into Kirchhoff Distributing Company, owned by his son Robert Kirchhoff and later by his grandson, Ronald Kirchhoff. There were offices in Maquoketa, Clinton and Dubuque.
Over the years, the business expanded and sold a variety of beers, mostly Budweiser products. The company after a merger became known as 7G Distributing Company.
