FELTES, Janice "Jan" (Dubuque, IA--Dubuque, IA, May 26, 2022) Jan will be remembered as the "director" of activities for much of the social activity along Bluff Street near the [[FOURTH STREET ELEVATOR]].  Jan’s Grate Shop on Bluff Street was "the" place to go to learn of new programs being planned or soon to occur.  Her natural abilities to plan and organize rose to the surface and she was instrumental in the development and implementation of The Taste of Dubuque and The Chili Cook-off, among many other events through her time with the Mississippi River Museum, Catfish Charlie’s, and the American Lady Cruises.  Jan was also a devoted volunteer with the [[DUBUQUE ARBORETUM AND BOTANICAL GARDENS]] after she moved into retirement.
