O'DONNELL, Frederick. (Unknown-Dubuque, IA, Sept. 9, 1925). MAYOR. O'Donnell came to Dubuque shortly after the end of the CIVIL WAR. He served as mayor in 1883 and was elected to the state legislature. In 1892, O'Donnell was nominated to become a district court judge. He served in the position for fifteen years before retiring in 1906.
