HENRY H. MEHLHOP. The successor of the JOHN MEHLHOP & SON COMPANY was a wholesale distributor of tobaccos and cigarettes. The firm was eventually owned and managed by Carl Mehlhop, the grandson of John MEHLHOP, Sr.
The 1904-1905 Dubuque City Directory located this business at 326 Main.
The 1911-12 Dubuque and Dubuque County Directory through the 1923 Dubuque City Directory listed 372 Main as the address.
The 1922 directory listed 872 Main.
