KISTING, V. Voggenthaler. (Dubuque, IA, Sept. 5, 1911-Dubuque, IA, July 23, 2007). President, E. J. Voggenthaler Company. Kisting, granddaughter of E. J. Voggenthaler, the company's founder, worked in the company's office from 1928 to 1941 and then returned in 1961. In 1966 she became president.

The company, nearly in financial collapse when she returned, grew through her leadership to develop a solid reputation as a profitable custom and specialized steel fabricator. Within the community, Kisting served as a member of the board that planned Stonehill Care Center.
