RUSTON (William) HOME. Located at 324-326 West Locust, this townhouse was the home of Reverend William Ruston who came to Dubuque in 1886 as the pastor of the German Presbyterian Church. He was also a professor and vice president of the German Theological Seminary. When the school relocated to the top of the hill and became the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, he served as dean and president of the college.
