BOLEYN, William. (Sherrills Mound, IA--Dubuque, IA, June 21, 1975). Mail carrier. Boleyn, for whom a road intersecting Peru Road was named, served as Dubuque County's first rural mail carrier.

A member of FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Boleyn was a ruling elder for many years in addition to serving as the church treasurer.
