SCHROEDER, Edward Wendell. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 17, 1911-Hawaii, Feb. 1, 1988). Musician. Schroeder, the son of Edward SCHROEDER, founder of the DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, attended the Dubuque Conservatory of Music and the Schroeder Conservatory of Music. In 1934 he graduated from LORAS COLLEGE and received his master's degree in music from the University of Iowa.
