RHOMBERG PARK. Established by Joseph A. RHOMBERG after he came to Dubuque in 1854, Rhomberg Park was located at the intersection of Rhomberg and Shiras avenues. The park offered a bandstand and was often the site of German beer picnics. It was later used for the Fresh Air Camp until the street cut through to Eagle Point.
