GEHRIG, D. A. (Switzerland, Feb. 7, 1826-- ). Tailor. Gehrig, who operated his business on the corner of Main and Fifth STREETS grew up and and learned the tailor's trade in Switzerland and came to Dubuque May 19, 1855. He began working at his trade in 1867 and became one of the oldest tailors in the city.
