MARSH, J. M. (Seneca Co., NT--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 16, 1858). Surveyor. Marsh surveyed a large portion of Michigan, Wisconsin and Iowa and settled in Dubuque in 1840. He was a U.S. Deputy Surveyor and established the state line between Iowa and Minnesota.
