SCHUMANN SCHOOL OF MUSICAL ART. Located on the entire third floor of the Grand Opera House Block, the school operated from September 8, 1913 to June 11, 1914. There were classes for all ages. The Voice Department included Earl Fritz Schumann, Helma Cheesman and Marguerite E. Flick as instructors. The Piano Department's sole instructor was Grace Emily Noyes. The school's Violin Department was led by Maud Kimball Payne and the Organ Department was directed by Dwight Phelps. Lucia Roggman was in charge of Theory.
