JULIEN'S FLAG. In 2023 Gigantic Design Company of Dubuque offered the residents a new colorful flag representing the spirit of the city. This flag may be viewed and purchased at https://juliensflag.com/
The concept of the updated flag was to reflect the last two decades in which the "City of Dubuque, its residents, local businesses, and private enterprises have been on a mission to enhance the quality of life in Dubuque." As a design agency growing with Dubuque, Gigantic Design Company "wanted to express its deep pride in the heritage of Dubuque and aimed to honor the rich history by designing a flag that better represented our city." By working composition, layout, and symbolism together, the company felt it duplicated the strength of the community with each facet of the community supported each other for the collective betterment "of our city."
