BLUE BELL ORCHARD. Bluebell Orchard was started by Pete Henkels in 1975. He purchased fifteen acres and began planting trees. By 2016 trees covered twelve acres and ranged from heirloom to new. Henkels concentrated on apples and pears, but also grew melons, radishes and onions. (1)

The 1989 Dubuque City Directory listed 13864 Seippel Road.
