THOMAS HARDIE HOUSE. Located at 1257 Locust Street, this and the GOODRICH-WILSON-RYAN HOUSE were the first two houses on the street. Thomas HARDIE purchased this home in 1847 when it stood north of the city.

This home was incorporated in the DUBUQUE BOYS/GIRLS CLUB.
