DUBUQUE YOUTH COUNCIL. Organized on June 14, 1966 at its initial meeting made plans for a open air YOUTH DANCE on the top of the municipal parking ramp. The youth/adult group was the outgrowth of a meeting between Dubuque youth and city officials on June 21st. Members of the council included Sal Sciremammano, a UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE student from Oceanside, Long Island, New York; Lynn Pregler, a 1966 graduate of SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL; Marge Reed, a senior at the ACADEMY OF THE VISITATION; and Pat Crahan. This executive committee planned responsibilities of each other for the dance with the female members taking he responsibility for decorations.
