TROOP 19 BSA. While the Boy Scouts of America nationally allowed girls to join its scouting program for several years, in 2020 Troop 19 became the first all-girl Scouts BSA in Dubuque and one of only two troops for girls in the Northeast Iowa Council. The majority of the girls in 2021 were at the first or the second level of scouting.

On February 9th the troop held its first Court of Honor ceremony to recognize their achievements in Martin Hall of ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER CATHOLIC CHURCH. The group faced many challenges presented by the PANDEMIC initially meeting only over Zoom on the internet. During the summer, the group met outside and participated in the Scouting for Food drive and a mulching activity around the church. They were also able to go camping.
