Dubuque Daily Herald, January 4, 1868

ASA ROBERTS. Asa Roberts was associated as early as 1859 with Thomas CONNOLLY, as the successors of Picket & Clark, in the manufacture of carriages, wagons and sleighs. (1)

The 1867 Dubuque City Directory gave the address for this wagon maker as the east side of Locust 1 north of 5th. The company employed nine. (2)

The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business could be found on the east side of Locust between 5th and 6th.

The 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory listed the west side of Iowa 1 north of 5th.

The 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 529 Iowa.

The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as 1876 Clay.

The 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory listed 603 Iowa.

According to the 1883 Dubuque City Directory, this business was located at the corner of 5th and Clay.
