MCMULLIN, Norman. ( -- ). After the death of Fred W. WOODWARD in 1975 no one held the title of publisher of the Telegraph Herald for three years. In January 1966, McMullin had joined the newspaper as its advertising director. In 1971 he was named the business manager. McMullin was named general manager in 1975. (1)

McMullin was named the publisher of the Telegraph Herald in 1978. He held the position until 1983 when he was appointed the president of the WOODWARD COMMUNICATIONS, INC.

A former president of the multi-state Inland Press Association, McMullin ended his association with the newspaper and WCI in January 1987. He became president of St. Louis Suburban Journals. (2) In 2014 he was in the newspaper brokerage business in Phoenix, Arizona. (3)

He was succeeded by Stephen KENT
