See: CARR, ADAMS AND COLLIER COMPANY In 1919 with the end of WORLD WAR I, Carr, Ryder and Adams resumed peacetime production with the construction of the second largest warehouse in Dubuque. Erected at 11th and Washington STREETS, the five-story building was to have 100,000 feet of floor space. It was to be built of reinforced concrete and be fire-proof. (1)
