CREMER, Lawrence E. "Larry." (Freeport, IL, Dec. 29, 1941--Dubuque, IA, July 2, 2015). After graduating from LORAS COLLEGE in 1963, Cremer began work at the WILLIAM C. BROWN COMPANY eventually heading the college division. He then joined Medical Associates Health Plans as CEO. He retired as senior vice president at DUBUQUE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY.

In the early 1980s, Cremer led the American Cancer Society's fundraising campaigns. In the 1990s he led fundraising efforts for Loras. In the mid-1990s he served as president of the DUBUQUE RACING ASSOCIATION. After retirement, he joined the board of directors of the Girl Scouts.
