HUNTOON, Donald Fraser. (Elkhorn, WI--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 25, 1975). Cable car official. From 1926 to 1928, Huntoon organized and operated the Laude and Huntoon Bus Line, the first to operate between Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. Huntoon served as treasurer and manager of the Fenelon Place Elevator Company beginning in 1947. From 1946 to 1948 he organized and operated the Dubuque Travel Bureau, was named its president in 1958, and served as its treasurer from 1961 to 1969.
