WORLD'S INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT ASSOCIATION. In 1888 this insurance company issued 1,577 policies representing $4,033,000 in insurance. The company ended the year with no claims unpaid after being in business three years. The officers included Dr. J. R. Guthrie, president; George F. Strait, vice-president and manager of agents; Isaiah Cleminson, treasurer; and M. G. Duncan, secretary.
In 1891 this company was advertised in the Telegraph Herald as Iowa's only accident insurance company.
