POWERS, Paul
POWERS, Paul. (Dubuque, IA-- ). Powers, the brother of David POWERS received a Business Degree from the University of Iowa. He then attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Program for Senior Executives and the American University for his graduate work in public policy. Powers served in the United States Army and the Iowa National Guard, and during the 1980s served two terms as a Colorado State Senator. (1) With over 20 years experience in commercial and residential real estate, Mr. Powers owned and operated several construction home-building and real estate companies. He was also chairman of several Colorado banks which were acquired for re-organization and resale. (2)
In 1995, Mr. Powers partnered with Mr. William B. Pauls in purchasing a 1,200 acre parcel in Denver, now known as Gateway Park. (3) As the president and CEO of The Pauls Corporation (named after its owner and chairman, William B. Pauls), has developed real estate and commercial property all over the western United States and Canada. Sites of his company's activity include Denver, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; Las Vegas, Nevada; St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri; Detroit, Michigan; Austin, Texas; San Diego and Redwood City, California; Calgary and several locations in the province of Ontario.
