COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS
COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS. An alternative to diesel and gasoline in some vehicles, compress natural gas (CNG) was introduced to Dubuque on November 15, 2013 by RAINBO OIL COMPANY. A clean-burning fuel, CNG generally cost up to 40% less than gasoline or diesel.
The first public pumping station for the new fuel was at 1215 E. 16th street.
