MR. MUFFLER. Mr. Muffler was originally established in 1978 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania by Richard Luprek, Sr. as a basic muffler shop. Mr. Luprek, a lifelong Johnstown resident, had already established himself as a qualified automotive specialist. A small, two-bay former service station on Scalp Avenue provided the first home to Mr. Luprek's new business.
The 1977 through 1985 Dubuque City Directory listed 3155 University.
