MCKEEVER, Susan Marie Graas
MCKEEVER, Susan Marie Graas. (La Crosse, WI, Aug. 21, 1950-- ). Educator, musician. The niece of famed musician John GRAAS, McKeever in 2009 was a member of the music faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She holds two Bachelor's degrees from the University of Redlands, where she was a student of Alexandra Pierce and received the Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she was a student of Olga Conus and Richard Morris. She also did graduate work at the University of Southern California and was a student of Daniel Pollack. She has earned professional achievement certification through the Music Teachers National Association, and performs frequently as an accompanist and chamber musician.
The McKeever Duo with her husband, Jim, has performed extensively throughout the Midwest and South. Their repertoire includes works for two pianos as well as one piano, four hands. John Costigan records many of their performances at UW-Parkside.
