WILLIAM OTT HOME. Located at 560 Fenelon, the home was featured in the 25th Annual Dubuque Old House Enthusiasts Tour. The building was constructed in 1901 on a bluff once called Prospect Hill, a mining site owned by Sylvester Saucier.

William Ott, the first owner, and his brother harvested timber around Eau Claire, Wisconsin and then floated it down to Dubuque for milling. In later years, the brothers owned Ott Mill, a large sawmill operation.
