GIGANTIC DESIGN COMPANY. Around 2005, Sean Murphy and Tom Culbertson opened Gigantic Design Company in Culbertson's basement while they worked at CARTEGRAPH SYSTEMS. In 2015 their business had expanded to the point that they had hired co-workers. Two years later the company had relocated to 900 Jackson Suite 111 within the Schmid Innovation Center in the Millwork District.
By 2025 the makeup of the firm's clientele had changed. At first most of the business came from local clients. This evolved with more than half of the orders come from non-local sources. Gigantic Design like other companies drew work from the Internet as well as national brands which, as a result of the PANDEMIC, chose to work with designers online.
In addition to branding, Gigantic Design offered managing websites, shooting photos and and videos, and developing digital and performance marketing. Although the makeup of their clientele has changed, the company in 2025 could count among their client Hodge Material Handling, BARD Materials, Hirschbach Motor Lines, and ANDERSON-WEBER. ---
