RATTLESNAKES. On May 19, 2004 students at STEPHEN HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL witnessed Dan Roth of Galena, Illinois bitten by a rattlesnake during his "Snakes Alive" presentation. The snake's fangs went through a balloon he was holding ad hit his hand. Roth was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa, City. (1)
