KARBERG, Peter. (Germany, Aug. 27, 1840-Lincoln, NB, July 2, 1884). Publisher of the Nord Iowa Post'Italic text. Karberg purchased the printing equipment of the Dubuque Staats Zeitung and moved it to Lansing, Iowa. He later established the Nord Iowa Post. In 1877 Karberg moved the paper back to Dubuque.
