LEIBOLD, Thomas F. "Tom." (East Dubuque, IL- July 30, 1931--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 23, 2015). The son of Edward and Angeline (Sherman) Leibold, Tom was united in marriage to Darlene M. Tigges on July 30, 1955 at St. Philomena's Church, Asbury, Iowa. He served in the U. S. Army from 1955 to 1957.

Tom was a realtor from 1960 until his retirement in 2008, concentrating on farm & commercial sales & development in Dubuque, East Dubuque, around Iowa and Minnesota. He built St. Mary's Apartments for the Elderly and managed it for thirty years. He enjoyed flying his Cessna off his farm to show properties and for aerial photography.

Tom was President of International Traders Club in 1967, President of the Dubuque Board of Realtors in 1969, President of the Farm & Land Institute in 1977, President of Real Estate Securities & Syndication in 1979 and Iowa Farm & Land Broker of the year in 1979.

He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, its Holy Name Society, the Noon Optimist since 1961, East Dubuque Knights of Columbus-Council # 7527 and the East Dubuque Zoning Commission. Tom was very active with the "Right to Life Organization" and participated in numerous pickets against Planned Parenthood in the Dubuque area.
