KEY CITY IRON WORKS. Established in 1869, the Key City Iron Works Foundry according to the 1884-1885 Dubuque City Directory was located on 8th between Iowa and Clay.

The 1899-1900 through 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as the southeast corner of Jackson and 9th.

The 1916-1917 White's Dubuque County Directory listed 890 Jackson as the address.

From 1937 through the 1980s, it was located at 898 Jackson Street.
