AIRD, Jack. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 16, 1919--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 18, 1998). Aird and his wife Margaret A. AIRD established the DUBUQUE ADVERTISER (THE) in 1963. She died in 1995. He served as publisher until his retirement in 1998.
